ENTRANCE TICKETS REGULATION
1. All foreigners are required to purchase an entrance ticket to Pearaing Biodiversity Conservation Area
- Entrance ticket : 10 US$/person
2. Children under 6-year old are not required to buy an entrance ticket with showing their passports.
- Children from 6-9 year-old are required to pay 5 US$/Child.
3. Boat tickets are priced differently based on the types of boat and distance of boat port.
- Boat ticket : 15 US$/person-4pax max (Price applied from January to June)
- Boat ticket : 20 US$/person-4pax max (Price applied from July to December)
- Big boat ticket : 30 US$/person-8pax max (Price applied from July to December)
* The special request for an English Speaking Bird Guide/ Local guide :40 US$/group-16pax max.
* The community income is distributed to:
- 68% to community economics operation and development.
- 15% to Chreav commune infrastructure
- 8% to Happy Farmers Cooperative Bank for Loan processing (Self Help Group Project)
- 3% to Chreav Healthcare Center
- 3% to Chreav commune Schools
- 3% to Elderly People Support
Why are boat priced differently?
Each and every year, Tonle Sap Great Lake rises up and down seasonally so this makes a difference of distance of the boat port. The Boat port is gradually moved forward and backward due to the expanding and receding of the flood.
4. Working hours of Community Ticket Booth Center starts from 5:00am-5:30pm every day.
5. Visiting hours to Pearaing Biodiversity Conservation Center starts from 5:00am to 6:00PM
6. The purchase of entrance tickets must be done at The Community Ticket Booth Center. Tickets purchase from a third party are not valid.
7. Entrance tickets are not transferable to third parties and can not be reimbursed. If a visitor loses his/her tickets, he/she must purchase a new ticket.
8. Visitors are asked to keep their tickets until they have completed their visit.
9. Tickets must be produced by Association and Community Based Tourism, Culture and Nature of Beong Pearaing. Visitors who are found without an entrance ticket or with the usage of a transferred ticket are subject to a fine of 50 US$.
10. Foreigners of Cambodian birth or whose parents are Cambodian (Father or Mother) are exempt from paying the entrance fee provided that they show a "K" type visa in their passports.
11. Foreigners who have been granted Cambodian Citizenship must show their national identification card in order to be exempted from paying the entrance fee.
12. Vehicle carrying foreign visitors must stop at the Community check points.
13. The Entrance Tickets Regulation has been implemented since 1st January 2018.
